So then, all the later brands of TVR such as the Tuscan and especially Sagaris have gone up dramatically in price over the past year.
Thing is, are people buying at these prices? I see. many for sale for months and sometimes a year on end... especially in the winter season. I always wanted a Tuscan or Sagaris but 30k to 50k...no Thanks. Any thoughts from TVR nuts appreciated.

its funny, stick a sagaris in between fezzas and porks etc which all cost significantly more, and which one gets all the attention?
+1Trip down to Angouleme last year. My Tuscan, 2 Chimaeras, 1 Griffith and 1 Ferrari 360.
Stopped in "Village Etape" for some lunch, and it was Blackpool's finest that elicited the praise and questions.

Not only that, when people ask how much is it worth / cost, they are shocked when its less than six figures. One comment that sticks in my mind - I was getting out of the car a passer by came up and asked if I was the secret millionaire?!?!
I go to France a lot and you always get mobbed in petrol stations and being asked loads of questions, what is it, how big is the engine , how fast does it go and so on, even on the way to Le Mans you get the same, they don,t even look at Porsches or Ferraris if your in the petrol station, same reaction in some places in the UK

But you do tend to feel a bit of a burke when they ask what 'TVR' stand for and you have to tell them !!
My best man did a slide show for his speech at my wedding - he put up a pic of my Sagaris and said, "I did wonder what TVR stood for, then thought surely its Tholey's Viagara Replacement". Antony Thole

+1The cerb always causes great fascination on the continent. I've been photographed by passengers hanging out of windows, videod by pedestrians, had a tit flash from a hen party, and stopped by a group of lads bowing in the street before me like this as I burbled through the crowded streets of Dijon:
Wherever you stop it attracts crowds. In fact, you don't have to stop because other drivers hover in your blind spot admiring the car and trying to figure out what it is. In contrast, you're more likely to be given the coffee beans driving a fezza or pork over there.
That's exclusivity for you
Well, I drive a Sagaris in Germany. There are almost 10 Sags out here, maybe one or two more or less, so the car is very rare here and most people have never seen one, neither on pictures nor in reality. Mine is silver with open vents and it really looks like Mars attacks. Sometimes it is a little too much: Few days ago I stood first line in front of a red traffic light at a huge crossroads, kids came around, sat down on the ground close to the car and made photos with there mobiles. People do always drive very close to the back of the car, taking pictures, overtake hard, making films. Of course always with raised thumbs or a smile – but sometimes it is dangerous. So maybe just a matter of time until a crash...

I got cut up and hit the curb because of someone trying to drive and take a photo of my Tuscan once. Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
