Hi all,

I'm looking to buy an Exige S and have been looking for Orange, red, white or blue and white Sprint.

One has come up in black and I'm really unsure how they look in person. Has anyone local to York got an MY10 black Exige I could have a look at in person to see how they look?

Thanks
Tom.

You might be better posting on Seloc, or Nyloc.

Black is black. As always they look great when they're clean, whatever the car. It's keeping it clean that remains a PITA for most. There are a couple of nice ones around at the moment. No doubt you're considering one of them. Don't get too hooked up on the colour thing, otherwise could have a long wait for the right car. All colours are great if the cars kept well. All colours are ste if they're scruffy etc etc. One of my favourite colours is CO, yet I saw one that was dull and flat and not clean which really showed that it's down to the car and the owner. Concentrate more on condition and history. Once you have the right car you'll love it whatever the colour.

Thank you very much for that. That's exactly the thought I'm going through. The condition and history seem to be perfect which is what's made it difficult for me! I suppose I would at least look like Batman...

Only thing I'd add to the above, is that I sometimes feel a bit vulnerable, so I'm glad I have a bright colour car (though having the headlights on all the time will no doubt help). Also, if it's the 'wrong' colour be honest with yourself about if it'll bother you in the long term.

Best of luck either way!
