Well, I got a call from DMV.
State requires front and rear bumpers that protect the lights in order to register the car.
Here is what I had to do to get them to OK this part of the process.

Who ever thought that NY could be worse than CA?
Actually, CA is very liberal for 'kit' cars, so long as you are one of the (only) 500 people per year who register their car as an SB100 ('kit' or 'assembled' car). If you don't get in line early and get an application, you cannot register that year no matter what. Not surprisingly I believe that the SB100 rule was put in place by a CA state representative who built/bought a Cobra and found he couldn't register it.

Right, when my SB100 was received, you had to camp-out at the DMV or try the next year. There were campers, trailers always sitting in the DMV parking lot on new years night waiting for the next business day.
Now you can get the SB100 anytime of the year, they can't fill the quota of 500.
I fear those liberals may drop it all together because of that fake Carbon debacle. 0.045% Carbon in the air ! Oh MY!
When there was 0.45% carbon thousands of years ago the polar bears didn't die off and MAN didn't cause it. I wonder what would Kill-Off the liberals? Lack of funding?

If all goes good, plated and driving by the 12th.
