PHTV - Episode 9

All the Renaultsport Clio geekery you could wish for, PHer clips and much more!

Look away now if you don't like Renaultsport Clio. Not only does this episode feature the video accompaniment to Dan's Clio feature, but there's also much wittering from fanboys Dan and James on the the sofa. Rumours are that chat was significantly cut for the edit...

But there is more to watch. We have something of a fast saloon special with John set the challenge of finding a supersaloon in the PH classifieds plus an Audi S4 in Carpool. Don't forget the latest PH news and clips from readers. Enjoy!

Audi S4 V8?

That's a 3.0 V6 Supercharged isn't it?

Otherwise these episodes are getting better every time.

The classifieds bloke, John, is a natural presenter. A good storyteller. Looks like he's had a bit of a washing up since last episode. Don't lose the matey mien and become all newsreader on us!

The results on Jason's Audi are astonishing. A Q-car. Definitely, as he says, Jekyll and Hyde.

Great spot! It should of course have said "Audi S4 B8"... Our graphics bloke has been suitably reprimanded.

Glad you're enjoying the show,

JD

He should be tied up and forced to listen to Dan Trent recite a chapter from l. Ron Hubbard's, Mission Earth!

A trivial point but the inside of all of those Clios were genuinely shocking. Hideous beyond any form of natural tolerance.

Another great episode, really enjoying these and they are getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

I like the Renaultsport Clio feature, great cars and I must own one at some point. Dan certainly looks more comfortable behind the wheel than sat on the sofa.

Another noisy TVR, love it and good to see PH still flying the TVR flag. thumbup

Mpaxon I agree with your green smiling face and one thumb, yes Dan may look like one of those hostage videos on Youtube but I feel he is very credible and gives great knowledge to the subject this important!

HAHAHAHAHA - Hostage video on YouTube... brilliant! Agreed take him off of the sofa and put him infront of a car and Dan is superb. The walk around part of the Clio feature was great where he was explaining the differences in the cars, the specs etc and not even a hint of hostage situation. Behind the wheel he is better still, fantastic driving and possibly the quickest heel-toe downshifts I have seen in a road car where the pedals are not always setup it. Good work.

The credibility is one of the reasons I like these PHTV episodes, yes it is may be a bit 'wooden' in places but people who are complaining about that I think are missing the point, it is not a replacement for Top Gear which is polished, big budget, big egos but at the same time is not really aimed at car enthusiasts. This is a made by car enthusiasts for car enthusiasts, with a bit of PH humour thrown in.

You are wise, I like your featured car video and I like you and will give you a green smiling man and a thumb.
