I used to own a 996.2C2 a year or so ago and have since gone C63. Now I'd like to get back into a 911 and I'm thinking of the below car from Cameron sports cars:-

Does anyone know anything about the car or Cameron? Are they good to deal with? I've done a search and can't find a bad word to be honest.

Its almost my ideal spec. I'd just prefer a sports exhaust but easily sortable.

If the 85k miles £21k 997 c2s that I went to see at Cameron a couple of weeks ago was anything to go by, then this car should be immaculate. Unfortunately the car I went to see had sold over the phone just before I arrived.

They seemed like a very professional outfit and where apologetic that the car I went to see had sold, but based on my first impressions I would certainly buy from them.

Found them a pleasure to deal with when I bought from them a few years back.

PhilD - Looking for a 997? You've had enough of the 996 C4S then?? wink

They stored my car over the winter, did an inspection when it came out of storage and what they call a 'showroom' clean. They were excellent to deal with throughout the process.

Hi I look after a lot of cars that have been sold by Ian,into South Wales and all the cars have been spot on, they also have some ex opc technicians over there.

One of my customers is in the process of buying a car from them, and they have looked at everything he has asked them to check.

I good friend of mine has bought a couple of cars from them and always spoke very highly of them. I popped over too see them only last week and my GT3 is booked in for a service now, next week.

/\ that's me smile

A very professional approach and Ian is great to deal with.

Thoroughly recommended, despite him relieving me of a large amount of cash over the years hehe

Unfortunately the car wasn't for me. Just a few too many cosmetic imperfections for my liking. The search continues. . .
