£100K Garage: Prezolyac

"I don't like wonky, but can't resist wacky." That's the Morgan covered, with a mixture of two and four wheels for the rest!

Name: Prezolyac (Keith, but we don't have a surname!)
Previously owned: 1974 Mini 1275, 1972 Mini 998
Currently owned: Daewoo Racer, Honda Integra DC5
On the shortlist: "All over the place really, normally tempted by rarities and bargains. My resolve would be seriously tested by a nice Karmann Ghia."

Range Rover Classic
Cost:
£9,950
Balance: £90,050
Why I chose it: "It's a Range Rover Classic, the perfect daily runabout that can swallow a whole family and shopping whilst pissing all over the classic german stationwagon brigade. Preferably accessorised with a fox hunting beagle and flat cap hanger."

Ducati Monster
Cost:
£4,900
Balance: £85,150
Why I chose it: "I've been dreaming of owning a Monster ever since seeing the original Carl Fogarty ads in magazines back in the 90s. Ideally I would have preferred an S4RS as that is the ultimate incarnation of the Monster in my opinion and also because the thinner trellis frame looks nicer. This would still do nicely for that imaginary Tuscan hill run."

BMW 650i
Cost:
£16,000
Balance: £69,150
Why I chose it: "This is so sexy I can't ever understand why anyone would ever criticise that Bangle butt. Sir Mixalot would have a thing or two to say, and the F13 6 Series looks wonky to me. I'm a firm believer in that every garage should have a V8 and a luxury coupe so this fits in nicely. It was either this or an SL55, but potential repair bills on those things scared me away. Plus I've got the open air thing covered nicely..."

Morgan 3-Wheeler
Cost: £24,995
Balance: £44,155
Why I chose it: "I don't like wonky, but can't resist wacky. This is mental, a must have in any purist's garage. I've been a fan of old 3-Wheelers since forever and went nuts once I realised Morgan were restarting production! I'm a big Morgan fan, so had the budget permitted I'd have also included the Morgan Speedster." [This 3-Wheeler has sold, rather annoyingly, and there aren't yet any alternatives at the same price. See the rest here.]

Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 V-Spec
Cost:
£19,995
Balance: £24,160
Why I chose it: "A family member took me for a ride in his 1990s Supra JZ Twin Turbo and the sound of a turbo spooling over that inline-six scream makes my blood curdle till this very day. I've also been through the first generation of the Playstation/Gran Turismo combo (plus I rather dislike the cornering reputation of the Supra) so the Skyline fills the spot for this one. The R33 NISMO 400R would be the ultimate pick, but that's a priceless unicorn and the more utilitarian look of the R32 somehow makes it look more menacing. The Robson leather interior also makes it a rather nice place to feel your guts implode against the back of your seat."

And a quarter of the fund left if the figures are right!
Maybe a fast estate or saloon with that £24k to fill the void?

As the first reply said, 1/4 of the fund left, either the full '£100k Garage' wasn't fully uploaded, or the 'owner' of this garage is setting aside funds to repair the Range Rover, which will break down or need extensive welding and body repairs?....

Right on about the balance, here's the rest of the garage that was missed in the original article..

VOLKSWAGEN KARMANN GHIA

Cost: £19995
Balance:£4125
Why I chose it: Just look at it. The most beautiful and underrated classic ever to grace the classifieds listing. This looks like a clean unmodified example. Slow as a turd, but everything this beautiful should be seen in slow motion.

AUSTIN MINI

Cost: £3750
Balance:£475
Why I chose it: My first car was a Mini, as was my second. They tried to kill me at least three times. So, just like that first teenage sweetheart (or psycho ex) that's always in the back of your mind with the rest of the what-ifs of your life, this one's got to make a comeback at some point. Balance to be put towards some classic Cobra seats and a Moto Lita wheel. Or life insurance.
