Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera testing?

Huracan emerges with random stickers and a new exhaust - is a Superleggera coming already?

Time to follow up the PH Speculateometer again! Here is a Lamborghini Huracan in testing, which already seems a little odd given the car hasn't been on sale for that long. It can't be a mid-life facelift, no way.

You can't hide new exhausts from us!

All clues point to it being a Superleggera. With its extended production run it can often seem like updated Gallardos were yonks apart but the LP570-4 Superleggera arrived just two years after the LP560-4 'base' model. The Huracan was first seen at Geneva in 2014 so Geneva 2016 would be the logical launch date...

Anyway, we're getting ahead of ourselves. What is there to learn from this car? First point is the exhausts. Yes, the standard pipes feature but look behind the mesh above the numberplate - two more. Obviously it won't have six, that's a bit much even for Lamborghini, so expect a 458 Speciale-style pair up high between the lights.

Frankly the stickers currently make no sense. Low-budget disguise attempt perhaps? As yet there are no interior pics which is where the Superleggera will surely differ from the standard Huracan. Stripping the inside has featured prominently on the two superlight Gallardos as part of the weight saving. There's always been a bit of extra power as well; Huracan LP620-4 Superleggera has quite a nice ring to it, don't you think?

More as it becomes available.

Had been very tempted with the Huracan, but the thought of this coming out loomed in my mind and now I know what I need to do.

Will await a bit more information, as ideally want a Superleggera Spider!

scratchchin Or what about a two wheel drive road version taking a lead from the Super Trofeo series cars?

LP620-2 anyone?

Note the exhausts:

Im hoping they tidy the bit around the exhausts at the rear - it just looks weird in my eyes!
Hoping it'll be rectified with the SL or Spider version.

Is there some picture problem? It looks very tall and narrow.

Those wheels look sort of wrong. Can't put my finger on why...

It's because they are oval, they screwed the aspect up.
