997.1CS vs Huaracan @ Nürburgring
Discussion
Just thought some of you here would enjoy this little snippet from this weekends TF sessions at the Nürburgring.
We were just going for what should have been relaxed laps in the massive traffic - hence no helmets. But the chance of getting a video like this was not one I would want to miss.
No doubt the 4wd and 200 bhp surplus means the Huaracan has the legs on my GT3. But with a really sorted suspension and perhaps a bit more experienced driver - the traffic makes sure this is actually a really close lap between us. I have not counted the overtakes but there are plenty.
Hope you enjoy and share the video of what is probably one of my most enjoyable laps ever on the Nürburgring

That looks like great fun! We were just going for what should have been relaxed laps in the massive traffic - hence no helmets. But the chance of getting a video like this was not one I would want to miss.

One day I will take my GT3 to the Nurburgring.......one day.... when my balls are big enough!
I'm always wary overtaking people into left handers, looks like you had quite a few opportunities for this to happen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SiRj3gteI0
Nice, smooth lap, even with traffic!

The next lap round after this one - he pulled over and gave me the lead.
You can find his lap behind me here. Some even closer overtakes on that one.
My video is on its way also.

I suppose the motto is 'do not overtake at or approaching corners'. Nice, smooth lap, even with traffic!

Forgive me if I'm being thick, but how does that differ to right handers?!Nice, smooth lap, even with traffic!

On a TF at the Nurburgring, German road traffic law applies, ie overtake only on the left. Most people acknowledge that and stay right to allow faster cars to overtake. Apart from the guy in the vid obviously...On a right hander, they're more likely to be on the right and not cut over, though this isn't always the case...
If I'm unsure, I'll wait til the straight or until they indicate they've seen me.
