OK - so after posting about how happy I was with good deal on replacing my two damaged condensers it appears I still have a slow leak. And I am looking for clues on likely sites as I can't find it frown
The system held vacuum after fitting new parts and all junctions (new lubed o rings etc) were sprayed with soapy water to check after refill. We added dye to help spot any future leaks and none is visible around new condensers (or the dryer which we also replaced) but I haven't removed front PU to check properly. Engine compartment and compressor etc all looks fine under UV black light too.
BUT I have lost 2/3 of charge in 2 weeks and 2000 miles of European trip so still got a slow leak.
Would you remove PU to check for dye properly around the replaced parts or is there another hidden place that often causes trouble? Such as pipes under the car?
I am hoping it is not the evaporator behind the dash smile

Best place for 928 a/c is http://www.ritech-systems.com/928_air_conditioning...

PS I presume you have checked expansion valve under scuttle in front of windscreen? Common site for leaks.

Many thanks for that ! I live in Ireland so really want to avoid a visit to the UK but I'll ask my guy to check what you say.

I friend with a Mk1 996 GT3 had the same issue, numerous checks, several re-gasses etc, all to no avail. No prizes for guessing what the culprit turned out to be ....... (didn't think it was behind the dash, more in front of the scuttle ?)
But under the bloody fuel tank methinks frown

Will do. And the name of the specialist would be helpful. Cheers.
