I'd be up for a meet in Oxford. May be able to get some of the Wycombe mob in as well.

Bloody excellent idea and I'm up for it. Got my cars back from their fettling at last and need an excuse for a nice long hoon; Oxford/Cotswold area one of my favourite bits of the country. One weekend this month would be great.

You still got your Maser Funky? Recall seeing something a couple of months ago that made me think you were selling/had sold it, though I'm probably imagining it.

Any excuse to take the Ultima for a run is fine by me. The sooner the better

Why not - it'll give the M3 a run up from Bournemouth. Where and when.

Well chaps, don't forget that Pie on the Beach will be happening 8th September...details to follow shortly...

If you set up an additional meet depending on date and time the Mrs and I would enjoy coming along....

Fantastic. 18th works for me and a pub with large beer garden works as well. I'll bring a 'rari whatever the weather. Presumably meet up @ lunchtime? Don't know Banbury that well but will look in Pub Guide this evening.

18th clashes with the Surrey run...

Banbury I would suggest is a bit north, theres a lovely place just northwest of oxford off the a40 called The Trout I think, great food, lovely beer garden, river etc.

we got a bit of controversy here with the date of the 18th though many seem to outway the few on this date me thinks so maybe we should go for it.
Also the trout sounds good so what do we all reckon on the date and venue, ok?
we'll have a quick vote count me as a yes, i gotta get me car out for a run.
matt can you dig out one of those map affairs on the p.c. to that pub?

There's a Trout on the riverside just outside Lechlade, that the one you mean? There were a few old trouts in the garden last time I was there as well .

It's about 8 miles south of the A40 at Burford, west of Oxford. Also has a field to park in, picnic tables by the river and usually a permanent type marquee attached to the bar for if it rains.

Someone book the sunshine, I've re-joined the RAC and feel safe in the knowledge that, if everthing turns to ST, they'll get me home, so I'll see you there.

Can we find a tunnel on the way for noise testing. Domster is keen to prove that the scoby (sorry Porsche) sounds like a race car.
