Not a TVR but in one of my 3.5 Rangies but as I had this issue with my Griff and no group knows these engines better than the TVR group I thought I'd post the question here.

Engine is on the Lucas flapper system and has suddenly started hunting on tickover. Not all the time but much of it.

Now, on my Griff it was the AFM but what are the other potential causes of this symptom?

Air leak on the vacuum side? Maybe perished brake servo vacuum pipe?

Hunting is a known problem on the flapper engine.
See here for some tips http://www.carelect.demon.co.uk/rr352.html

I used them many years ago. sent the ECU off in the post and it was back repaired and upgraded within 2 days and a very good price too.

Problem solved.

I took it to my Rangie specialist who pissed himself laughing.

I'd left the oil filler cap on the radiator.

I've wasted your time, my time and made myself look a right tit. biggrin
