Lotus Elise S1 door weatherstrip

I have a Lotus EliseS1 111s.
When you look into parts on the car, you notice that parts come from all
makes of cars!!!!!
Has any one got any idea what car the window weatherstrips come off of ?????
It seems well expensive to replace with Lotus parts.... Looks like they have you
by the short and curlys.....

They are a discontinued part now, alternatives available from eliseshop.

Hi Steve, I followed this thread on MLOC and used the Woolies option

I've had them on for about 18 months and they have been fine. Only cost about £30 to do both sides.

Many thanks for the two replies... I have seen these links to the Woolies web site and fitting sites.
But the gap I am getting left with, is way to big. I was looking for the origin of the original parts.

I changed these on my S1 111s and bought them from Evo at Elise spares. If you can wait a month he will be at Brands Hatch for the Lotus Festival and that's where I bought mine.

A bit fiddly to change and I made a simple tool to help but once done looked superb.
