Picked up my manual V8 Vantage Roadster yesterday, needless to say I was a little pre-occupied yesterday so only got around to posting up some pictures today.

This is my first Aston, only the third I've driven. Not ashamed to admit its the looks and sound that does it for me. Ok its not the fastest car in the world (and I've got my Exige for that particular kick) but its no slouch, the sound is heavenly and its a thing of beauty. I keep going outside just to look at it smile And the appreciation you get on the road, people smiling appreciatively, letting you out at junctions, the car breeds courtesy wink

Anyway I'll stop waffling / drooling on and post a few pictures. Quality is rubbish as it was dusk, taken on my iPhone 5s and I'm no David Bailey. But hopefully you get the idea.

Well done, what colour is it as it looks a bit been in the first photo and sliver/grey in the last photo.

Congratulations - have you stopped smiling yet?

Lovely to see another bitter chocolate interior - I am biased on that - and is the exterior meteorite? What colour is the roof?

Lovely car. The chocolate interior looks fab.
I've only had mine a couple of weeks and I've been in undated with requests for proms and for people to have their photos taken in it.

Here's to no rain.

Very nice! You seem to be missing a front number plate though?

Looks lovely Mark, im hoping to change mine for a roadster next year when its 10 years old, ive had my moneys worth out of it smile now to see if I can trade it in and have 10 years/75K miles of Aston Martin motoring without a clutch ...fingers crossed

you never get used to the great feeling it brings and gives others. I still have to remind myself when I take it into the office or on touring holidays. If you drive it daily you get a bit blase about it, so its great to have another car for a change

Some of my best years were when I had both my Elise and Vantage at the same time, enjoy the summer smile

Car looks terrific Mark, nice to see something a bit different contrast between body colour and interior,it works well .
P.S.Should you have a problem judging the length of the bonnet there is an interesting topic on here. smile

Thanks for all the kind words guys thumbup

To answer a few of the questions:

Yes its Meteorite Silver (read metallic grey wink )
Interior I'm not sure of the official name of the colour? But its a very dark cherry red. Is that Bitter Chocolate? Perhaps my photos make it look more brown? It is a really nice contrast against the grey, that dark red. Originally I discounted this car as I did want one with that colour interior, but in the end popped in to see the car as I was close by, I fell in love with the colour of the interior.

The roof is black

Been really enjoying using the car, got a few observations, questions and pleasant surprises but I'll post those up in another thread

My first Vantage was Meteorite with a Black Cherry interior - so the colour combo makes sense to me and I thought it went really well. IMO Bitter Chocolate goes better with Tungsten but I thought it looked good in your pictures.
