RE: AMG says "something fast is coming"

AMG promising that "something fast is coming" doesn't really narrow the field of potential candidates down much. Certainly no more than Toyota boasting it is about to launch a car that will make a good minicab in five years time. But we're still going to bite at this enigmatic teaser video, even if we leave you to work out what it is.
Is it this? Dare we hope?So, what can we tell you? The vid has been shot at Hockenheim from something that is definitely both quick and - presuming the soundtrack is real - is powered by a V8 engine. That leaves a long list of candidates, of course, but as AMG seems to launch a variant a month these days, the higher than usual level of hoopla has us hoping that this is something a bit special.

Of course, everything AMG does is pretty quick these days. But what could it be?
Is it this? Dare we hope?
We know there will be a coupe version of the C63 arriving shortly to provide some direct competition to the BMW M4. That's definitely exciting, especially in the UK where we bought far more W204 C63 Coupes than saloons or estates. But is it really the sort of entirely predictably product development that gets Stuttgart commissioning what we will probably discover is a series of teaser videos?
So fingers crossed that it's a Black Series version of the recently launched AMG GT. That will definitely happen at some point, although this feels very close to the car's debut for AMG to be bringing out the daddy version.
