locating the crank position sensor help!

Please help, I'm having difficulty locating the crank position sensor on my car. I'm at a loss because I own the odd engine (the S3 1.6 1zr fae) and can't seem to find any information anywhere... I am trying to troubleshoot a random low rpm misfire condition that gets worse when the engine warms up and the crank position sensor is next on the list of replacement sensors..
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where this sensor is and how easy it is to acceas (i.e. if it's something I can replace on my own)? I live in a country where there are virtually no Lotus service shops...
