That's a very subjective question.
The main choice is colour really, along with a trim options which vary depending on how old the V12V is that you are thinking of buying.
After that spec wise the car was pretty much fully loaded, with only really options covering type of seats (sports or lightweight buckets) and a choice of 3 hifi levels (std, premium, B&O). Seats divide opinion with some people being firmly in one camp or another, hifi - well std is quite poor (although some people cant tell or don't care), premium and B&O are both outstanding, with B&O looking better (rise up cone tweeters etc...).
Later cars have better sat nav too.

If you're looking at the nearly new ones then V12S comes into play which has a flappy paddle box instead of the manual plus there are a few other changes.
You'll find that the earlier manual cars are all coupes apart from a very small handful of manual roadsters which could well become a collectors car in the future but then they already have a price tag to go with it.

Agree with LD. If you are comfortable in them, the Lightweight seats are fantastic and suit the character of the car perfectly. I looked at V12V for a while but eventually got an SP10 V8VS partly because I found a manual one with a great spec (including Lightweight seats) and also because I didn't want to spend £7K on new CCM discs if the previous owner had used acidic wheel cleaner on them.

Indeed. I have been astonished at the poor prep at the dealers including some nearly new cars. From your garage I would answer your question by saying if you want paddleshift then it has to be V12VS (565BHP) - if you want manual then a 'regular' V12V with its weedy 510bhp
Pretty much like the other chaps say, other than the points above, the seats are probably the biggest difference. My previous V8V had the sports seats which were fine, but the lightweight carbon seats in my V12V are just fantastic whether cruising or proceeding enthusiastically - they suit the car perfectly in my opinion.

I'd try my best to check the different seat options - I can't stand the 'lightweights' because you can't adjust the back and I find them terribly uncomfortable. No seat heaters, either, if that's important to you. Personally I don't find any problem with the support from the normal seat.Any ideas on best spec for the vantage v12 please.

I'll buy at that price - who sells them that cheaply?I had the sports seats in my V8 and went for lightweights in the V12 (S) - no regrets at all -absolute great to hold you in place , very comfortable on long journeys - havent gone through a winter in them yet but went for alcantara inners as a compromise for losing seat heating.
Premium audio a must over standard but everything else was either personal choice or a waste of money depending on opinion.

I have sports seats and would not consider a car with lightweights. Only mentioning that to emphasise how subjective this one is, as a balance to all the folk recommending lightweight.
I have premium audio. The sound is good from a phone but the radio is rubbish. I think the V12V has DAB and is generally better.
