A Stage 2 F10 M5 is quicker, but still great numbers for the C6.
yeah but you can only put that power down 5% of the time, 95% of the time it will be wheelspinning in the same place 3 seconds later when RS6 is doing 60mph already. Difficult to find better cars for traction....ATM said:
£45k?
What about a Stage 2 RS6?
Yes, find a used F10 for low to mid 40's & then spend around £3k with a quality Tuner to achieve 750bhp & 700lbsft. The 750bhp C6 RS6's are the equivalent of Stage 2, just different Tuners use different terminology. The C6 RS6 can go North of 750bhp but requires more significant mechanical upgrades, the same applies to the F10 M5.What about a Stage 2 RS6?
Been out in a few tuned C6 RS6's & they're proper good fun.

Only applies if you're unable to drive a high powered RWD car correctly. Never had any launch issues other than in the very worst of weather conditions & tbh you'd be a bit of a tool launching in anger an AWD car in those same conditions. The below were early evening in February.

Just to clarify because I know people may question those DMS mapped M5 figures (and I'd already seen your reply about this on RS246), the figures above were taken using the 20Hz Vbox Sport which is an incredibly accurate GPS timing setup (20Hz is the minimum sampling rate used in offical motorpsort timing).
Re - Revo Map, I'd personally go for MRC everytime and add their Gearbox remap at the same time (plus remove the 2nd Cats). The total cost is a around £2k and you get a reliable 730+hp and 740+ft/lbs, I haven't heard of anyone on the numerous forums with this remap complaining about any issued caused, other than a ridiculous speed induced grin!

It's the torque levels that hurt the RWD cars, so although matching & even exceeding the above Power levels in the F10 M5 is fairly straight forward, 700lbsft really is the cap for the M5 without extensive changes to the suspension & running very wide & sticky tyres. Clutch slippage also starts creeping in at around 700lbsft.
