Buying my first boxster advice wanted please

im sure this gets asked a lot, so apologies for repetition

I have a budget of 20 to 25 k, at a push. Looking on line, I notice boxsters all into slightly older low mileage or newer with higher mileage. I'm after a 2.9/3.4 not earlier variants. Should I go older with fewer miles or vice versa?

I'm also interested in opinions on manual vs PDK, and any general wisdom

If the budget allows, go for a generation 2 as these are significantly more robust than the generation 1.

PDK v manual is purely a personal preference. There are no reliability issues with either, so possibly try both and decide from there.
