Glovebox won't open?! 2008 Vantage

For some reason my glovebox won't open? Any ideas? The light is on on the button, I've tried it with ignition on and car started

It's worth looking at the fuse for the release - may be unrelated to the light on the button.

I just wish it had a light INSIDE the glovebox.
