The exhaust on my GT3 has developed a very irritating drone noise at about 3,000 rpm and the engine fault warning (but ok to keep driving). Anyone else experienced this? The car is being taken in by my local OPC this morning so i'll keep you all updated.

OEM system?

I read somewhere on here that someone else's GT3 developed vibration/drone at similar RPM, they had a non-OEM back box fitted and had it removed but problem remained, not sure what the solution was...

Keep us posted.

It could be the bypass valves being shaken off. Ours came off after a ring trackday and the boom all the way home was awful!! They are two little metal bits with rubber piping attached by a clip. If they are still attached (look underneath routes the rear), then it'll be something else. Go to you dealer anyway.

Sports exhaust and cooling system valves share a vacuum source. My back box tubes became detached = louder exhaust and coolant system error message. So long as coolant temperature is shown as 90 degrees it is within normal temperature range.
