PHTV - Season 2, Episode 7

GT3 RS driven badly at Donington, Megane Trophy-R driven properly at the same and the latest PH news and forum views

We were lucky enough to have a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in on test recently and after a quick shakedown at PHTV's top secret test track Dan took it to Donington for a proper run. Pity he didn't check out David Brise's circuit guide first - having seen Dan's attempts to manhandle the Porsche around check out how it should be done with David's silky smooth and deceptively fast lap intended to show you the way round if you're going on a track day there. Which you should, because it's a great circuit.

Elsewhere this episode we have all the latest news, including Preuninger dropping an f-bomb (no, it wasn't to do with Dan's driving) and the latest views from the forums on all things Saab and Subaru.

Enjoy the show!

Why is pistonheads TV only shown in piecemeal chunks on you tube? Surely you could be reaching a far bigger audience with the proper eps? Or is the marketing strategy to keep it quiet like Bristol cars....And it barely works on tablets.

But loving the new series, Not too sure if the standing around in a dereletic industrial complex works for me... Maybe back to the pub but at the bar pouring pints with whisky chasers and smoking cigarettes.

It's light one content wise. Although you get hear James complain again about not getting to do the fun reviews...again. Maybe he should open his own you tube channel... Jim on cars. Also I think Dan wants a donnington sim game for Christmas.

Got to say I have watched one episode of PH TV and really enjoyed it. However I havent watched any since due to the terrible media player and massive adverts... Please post these on Youtube!!

1000x this, I assume they are trying to use the video content to draw people to this site and are afraid people would just watch the content on youtube without generating page impressions on this site.

By the way is that a PTS Salmon 911GT3 RS? laugh

If that is true then that's SO naughties marketing... things have moved on to cross platform, Look at EVO nearly 450,000 subs and Schmee just passed half million subs and good old monkey has now 275,000 ... and the mighty PH... 6.5 K

So is plastering the whole site with Audi ads to the point where i felt forced to take PH off my adblock whitelist. Didn't stop them from running the campaign for months. smile
They'll figure it out eventually.
