Good to see this standing out amongst a see of Black (and white) on the V12V pre-owned page https://used.astonmartin.com/en-GB/Search/Details~...

Good spec. with Lightweight seats and B&O but then so was the last orange one that took a year to sell (not helped by the fact that that one was more than somewhat overpriced at first).

Anyone keen? Would certainly stand out at Burleigh next year.

I think it looks stunning and I'd love to admire it at a show like Burghley.... I just wouldn't want to own it.

I quite like that, but then I had a Karussell Orange N400 ....

Would be curious as to what it looks like in the flesh and how close it is to Karussell, as the oranges tend not to come across very accurately in photos.

Lovely condition.

You could buy it and have it wrapped in pink?

Agreed about the colour and how it looks like in pictures.
I would have one though as it would match the same colour Mini we have!
Better to see the car in person as from dealer, my car looked like this....

But if you take it properly, it looks like this...

Dont worry about a ex factory KX car...i have one and no problems at all.

I've seen that in the flesh. It doesn't look too bad. However, not quite my cup of tea.

I'll see it again tomorrow, as I'm off to Harwoods Chichester, as my car has been in for some work.;)

I'll try and get a photo while I'm there wink

I remember this car for sale back in 2011. It was the first time that the V12V had caught my eye as they had just fallen below the 100k mark. I think this car was around £96k back then with around 5k miles on it.
Its a great looking orange carbon black model and at a good price imo.

Yes and so was the Madagascar Orange one which I liked very much and looked at a couple of times.

Think I prefer Madagascar but haven't seen Montana Orange in the flesh.

My SP10 was a factory car (on a KN plate FWIW) and according to the registration document was Darren Turner's car. Doesn't seem to have suffered for it at all and came fully loaded (as they seem to) with plenty of brakes & tyres. Obviously important to check condition carefully but the fact that it was a factory car doesn't put me off per se.

Apologies if this is a basic question but what does a 'factory car' actually mean?

Cars that were owned/registered by Aston for promotional, press purposes and for employee staff cars (not the guy who collects the cups in the staff restaurant though!). Usually the former 2 when a new model comes out.

Ah, ok cool - so they could have been ragged if they were a press car or driven gently of an exec...

If it was a press car, should be relatively simple to find some pics of it online sideways / upside down smile love the colour!

Or….

…..ragged by the works race driver driving

Suspect he drives with more mechanical sympathy than I'm capable of and he hasn't trashed the interior or exterior so I'm not worried. The press cars are perhaps a slightly different issue but I'm told they are kept in tip top condition by the factory (for obvious reasons) and probably get sold with new tyres and possibly brakes. Little else to worry about really.

Anyone else on here a happy owner of an ex-factory car?
