PHTV Clip of the Day - Audi R8 V10

Hear the new Audi R8's V10 do a good job of drowning out Dan's witterings

For a company known for its 'progress through technology' mantra the fact Audi has launched an all-new R8 with a seemingly old tech, normally aspirated V10 might seem a little confusing. You can read our full review of the car here but here you can hear why we're rather glad it did. This is one spectacular sounding motor. Turn it up loud!

Considering how similar it appears....it's still amazing how much better than the old one it looks. If that makes any sense!

The removal of the side blades is probably my favourite feature.

It seems to "sit" more like the Audi Avus now, which is no bad thing. I think the folded-paper styling is going to need some time for my brain to get used to though.

agree 100% about the side blades, always looked a bit odd IMHO.

I love these. They look like such a weapon! Glad that PHTV seems to have switched to YouTube as their video host. The old one was rubbish, bordering on unwatchable.
