Thats a shame! We can't afford to lose people with such expertise. Good luck.
Not only the expertise but also the willingness to share. My entry into classic TVR ownership would have been much poorer without Adrian's advice. Losing Steve and Adrian from Pistonheads in such a short time is a real loss.

Hope all is well with you and family and its PH politics and some personalities only that have made you choose as you have.
Good luck in the future.
This.Good luck in the future.
I don't know Adrian but I really hope that it is nothing in his family that has caused this decision to be made. I anticipate it is another example of small minded, opinionated, to55bags that have led to his decision.
Although I'm a die-hard Wedge fan, any enthusiast with as much knowledge of the marque any willingness to share that in a public way freely will be sadly missed. Only met Adrian once, at Zolder in 1991 - him in his Taimar (?) Turbo up against Russ Hughes in a road-converted Tuscan racer in the acceleration test was a sight to behold. I'm guessing that it may be a certain troublesome "element" that has caused this departure.
Best of luck to you Adrian.
Best of luck to you Adrian.
a HUGE loss to the TVR community, many folk across the TVR range reap the benefit of free advice on here from @Adrian. Very sad!
Wasn't it the TVR community and folk like he that contributed and help build PH to what it is today?
@Adrian if you read this perhaps set up a Facebook Page so folk can still tap into your knowledge
www.facebook.com/ask@Adrian has a nice ring to it ;-)

^^ echo Glens comments.
Only spoke to Adrian a few times (would have been more but exceeded my data usage allowance.....) - legendary fount of knowledge and help which many will miss and be worse off as a result of not being on the forums (I know for every question posed and answered many, many more read the posts and benefit from the wisdom....).
Thank you and all the best Adrian.

Agreed. The 'Classic TVR' Man has left the Building. Real shame IMO. When i first dabbled in the TVR World with my Taimar in the mid eighties. His name came up every time.Take care and best wishes to you and your Family.Hope all is well with you and family and its PH politics and some personalities only that have made you choose as you have.

Adrian,
Sad to read this, perhaps some others must leave the forum, but in the end it's a open public place with some rules.
Like " good behavior, no offending and respect". Like normal live.
Thanks for all the free advices and good information.
I was pleased to read them.
Hope to meet you in the flesh once.
Still interested in buying a new project so will be in need of your skills.
Keep them rolling,
Hans

Yes, the willingness to share this knowledge has been invaluable. I am not sure I would have ventured back into classic TVRs were it not for Adrian.... Shame

Although I'm a die-hard Wedge fan,
When considering my first Wedge over twenty years ago I rang and asked AV about his thoughts on the various models; he proceeded to give me a very thorough summary of the differences not only in spec the effects on performance, handling, maintenance etc.It will be a sad loss.

We can always have differing opinions ....... but that is all they are.
I to agree with Hans
