Winning at Revival: Time For Coffee?

Onboard (and very sideways) in JD Classics' victorious E-Type at Goodwood

Yes, racing vids from Goodwood tend to feature quite a lot on PH. But with good reason, usually because they're brilliant, full of magnificent cars and excellent racing . This one is no different.

JD Classics is always a big presence at Revival; you'll hopefully remember the superb SD1 from last year. This video comes from its E-Type Lightweight driven by Chris Ward and Gordon Shedden in this year's RAC TT Celebration. Driven to victory in fact. It's an ace vid, straight-six singing and the racing really close. Well, to start with at least. There is of course much powersliding too. Brilliant.

Congratulations to all involved on a great win; now get the kettle and see what we're on about!

Watch the vid here.

Never before have the words 'poetry in motion' seemed so apt. Impressive stuff!

I met Chris Harris at last Spa 6 Hours and he explained his drives to me. In the 6 Hour race he did stints in both the Frankel bros Ford Falcon and a georgeous new built Jaguar E-type Low Drag coupe.

Tonight I will perform some post-production (I shoot in RAW) on shots of this Jeremy Welch built beauty which will include hard braking and locking up before his La Source entry. Historic racing is so much more physical and entertaining to watch. It smells pretty good too!
