Woohoo! Had a couple of hours to sort the heater flap on the t350 which is basically a flap that directs either air over the matrix or directly into the car as fresh (cold) air. The flap is pulled closed for cold air by a motor, that knows when to swap when a microswitch is pressed. I've stripped it out and swapped the motor as it was dud and the new motor is soldered in and works a treat.
But....when connecting back into the car and clipping the lever arm from the flap onto the motor, the flap no longer presses the microswitch!!! Ahhh, so close. The offending item is this little strip of metal, but can't see how it fits onto the mechanism to press the switch as it's not the flap plastic itself that presses the switch.

Any idea how a little mechanism like that might work? No obvious place to fit the metal strip!
