Carbon Ceramic Brake Noise
Discussion
I know they have a tendency to be noisy, but mine feel and sound like they are grinding. According to the records, the car is still on its first set of pads and disks and there's plenty of depth left in them. I'm assuming they were bedded in correctly by the factory/dealership.
Should I be concerned at all?

They've done about 20k miles. The car was originally a Gaydon fleet car, but not a press car to the best of my knowledge.
The bedding-in process presumably involves a cycle of hard braking from high speed?
Yes but its not quite as simple as that. When I sat next to Mike at BR IIRC there were circa 20+ varying speed brake application. Mine were brand new discs though...The bedding-in process presumably involves a cycle of hard braking from high speed?
