Hi does any one have access to the manual for one of these, I have stupidly put it in a safe place which will probably only turn up when we move house. I understand the mode function switching from bike to car (did not know AM made bikes) the battery half ful I presume means charging, battery full means charged but what does the spanner light mean.

Not my photo as my improved iPhone 6 now take photos to big to post, also won't lie flat in the AM door pocket like the iPhone 5.

Further searching in the roof has found the instructions.

Underneath it's a CTEK IIRC.

I know the early ones where CETK but not sure about this one as I can not find a similar one re badged unless they have changed the box case as well, but found the instructions and posted for others thanks.

Has anyone had much luck resurrecting a battery before? My battery is a little poorly and is currently stuck on spanner mode (although the car does currently start unassisted). Does anyone know how long it will stay on spanner mode, before charging if the battery is ok?

Looks just like my CTek. Cost me £60-ish a few years ago. Wonder how much the AM one cost?

Moi aussi,,,,an as new genuine Aston Martin trickle charger on eBay, £90 delivered, happy days.biggrin

PS: If your battery has gone completely flat (my DB9 had not been run in almost 2 months) then the AM charger will not be able to pick it back up and you will need to connect a normal battery charger straight to the battery terminals.

Anyone using the CTEK 3300 model?
It is just $69 vs $300 for the AM version. Is it worth getting the factory vs the regular CTEC?
Thanks!

Yup, and as I've found, it won't trickle charge it if it thinks the battery is on its last legs (even if the car starts unassisted).

No it isn't worth it.

Get the $69 and if you need to, buy one of these :

Is it a name thing ?

Im using this on the car at present.
It's on its second vantage time scale of nearly two years,

Never had a problem or Battery issues on either car
I have the older version on my bike which is on its 4th bike, again no problems

It doesn't have to be an Aston named or Aston taxed product to work.

That's what I use, same as Aston one without the badge.
