That's probably the first relatively quiet speed6 that actually sounds very nice!
It hasn't got the raspiness of the full decats but still sounds very similar in tone. Nice
Agree with this and for a long run would be perfect, but for hooning I would want just a few more pops and bangs on the overrun. It hasn't got the raspiness of the full decats but still sounds very similar in tone. Nice
Having said that it makes a really smooth cultured noise that would be hard not to love, top marks.
Where did you get the cats from? I remember a story of some cheap sports cats which were only good for getting through an MOT (here in England of course) but broke down easily and could get ingested by the engine.
Thanks guys we are very satisfied with the results
The cats we bought of a german guy.
He had them specially made for his tuscan project, but in the end decided to go full decat.
putting them side by side to the original cats, it is very clear how open they are.
The rest of the exhaust came from ACT
The first pair of silencers are still in place.
The back box is straight trough.
The cans are original tvr (bought them on ebay)
We sleeved them with 2 51mm stainless steel pipes. (Cheap easy and very rewarding)
For the occassional track day we still have the original (non sleeved) cans
I will make some pictures and post them later
