Star Wars Dodge Viper and Hellcats

Social media tie up with The Force Awakens sees Dodge wrap Challenger, Charger and Viper - cool!

Alright, this is not the biggest piece of motoring news you will read this week. But it is exciting for fans of muscle cars and Star Wars, of which there are plenty on the PH staff and we hope among the readership too.

Presumably looking at the whole car is too scary
Presumably looking at the whole car is too scary
So as part of a social media collaboration between Dodge and The Force Awakens, three of Dodge's finest have been wrapped to resemble Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren. There are two very white supercharged V8s, the Charger and Challenger Hellcat, plus a black on black with more black Viper ACR. The Viper looks terrifying in fact, as you would hope for a character known for saying "I am immune to the light."

The cars are mechanically standard under these wraps, meaning there's just the 2,059hp between them... Hopefully there are some better pictures soon because these cars really deserve better photography. If you want to see them, the Twitter hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens will allow you to track the vehicle locations. And it's just a few days until the film now!

Totally agree. Both perfect for the willy-waving contest but that's about it.

Well, at least the Stormtrooper cars are quite safe, since they're incapable of hitting anything...

Unbelievably half-assed.

I clicked on the topic expecting something like this:

Instead all there is are a couple of stripes and a wrap that could be mistaken for just about anything.
What happened to doing things properly?

Oh and german cars they are all so incredibly boring and they are like claw hammers IE reliable and efficient but
you never feel excited , and people are more likely to frown when they see one,...oh and all white goods just some cost more and go faster , owning one shows a total lack of imagination!!!!
