I'm just changing mine from a 1 litre standalone, to a 2.5 litre with built in pump. Never had any issues with the 1 litre one on road or track.

The Radium looks good and looks to be 1.5 liters.

Woweee you must have a VERY thirsty engine and go super fast round a VERY VERY long bend to need that wink

Reckon you've got 10 miles spare there at wot!

Being serious, as mentioned, I have NEVER had surge issues on track with a 1 litre tank - tuned LS7 on Kumhos.

But I assume with 7 litre capacity you don't either biggrin

Thanks guys, good info. I'm going to install a Radium 1 litre as I think they are a really nice bit of kit. You can get a built in pump that really quietens everything down as well.

Roj,

You could always get in touch with pro alloy and have one designed to your exact spec. Works out a similar price to the universal radium ones.

It's worth adding that my swirl pot contains the HP pump too, so it's a well packaged setup that does away with the switch-over valve as a bonus.

Abbo,
It's only too small if it doesn't work eh? Never had any surge or heat issues with fuel with the little 'un.

Roj,

Not yet, will take some and post this weekend.

BPoor quality pic during mock up, measuring lines/fittings etc.

You can just see on the bottom right of the tank where the AC condensor is and the tank sits nicely over this. Off set brackets at the rear to hold in place, temp sensor fitting at the bottom, integrated 450l ph hp pump.

Is now covered in gold foil, fittings on top changed to high flow 90 degree swept type.

Yes I know it's all dirty, but am in the middle of a winter refresh smile

Absolutely - some would say I'm compensating too much already with that thing, having a massive surge tank as well is just a little ott wink
