Hi all,

I have been watching and researching Ultimas for the past 3 or 4 years now and am considering buying something rather than building from scratch as I simply don't have the time I once did, what with work and 3 young children, to do a full build.
So I am interested to know if there are any cars for sale out there at the moment, particularly ones that maybe need a bit of work, even a replacement engine etc..
Ideally something that has been registered already, but I am willing to consider anything, so what have you got?
Please PM me if you would rather not post on the open forum. I am a genuine buyer ready to go for the right car.

Cheers

Jay

For what you were planning, I think buying one that's already registered is a good idea wink If I come across anything for sale, I'll let you know.

Hope the family are good and the garage build went well!

As someone who nearly got his fingers burnt in the quest for an Ultima and having seen the details on the current cars for sale can I please add a little advice. Just because it says its got xxxbhp it doesnt mean it has - just because it says it gas upgraded parts it doesnt mean it has - get details of the parts used and rolling road print to substantiate any bhp claim. The golden rule is receipts for work and parts. Good builders will have kept all the receipts for parts used and work done and have a not insignificant folder reminding them if the happy days in the garage and the excitement of parts delivery and subsequent dread come bank statement time. Remember buyer beware ! The truth can be far from whats being claimed.
Just my view based on my experience fwiw. Take a current owner with you if possible.

Hi Mark, that's exactly what I am thinking. Time is not a luxury, the garage is nearly ready. Just the lift to be installed and its done...

Has anyone looked at the 2014 black car advertised? PM if you prefer.
It would suit me fine as a base car as I'm not looking for loads of HP. I'd be more concerned that the build was of a reasonable standard.

Yep, I don't do cars which can drive over 2 post lifts 😄. That means they are too high!
Hopefully have some installed pictures when it's done next week.

As personal emails are down at the moment can James (g60renshaw) and Mike (culminator) email me on rsm@coolair.co.uk as I know of a GTR which may be going on sale.
