My 20078 Boxster 3.4s has a leaky cam chain tensioner bolt that's leaking oil and blowing up into the upper engine bay. any suggestions as to who could replace the seal as the cams have to be locked to safely remove the spring loaded tensioner bolt and swap the sealing washer.

I also urgently need the exhaust flange gasket swapping out as well. Needs the 3 splined bolts removing to do so as heavily corroded.

Any suggestions?

Although not in MK, SIlverstone isn't far away. Matt @ Fearnsport is a super guy.

The tensioner bolt leak (usually the metal gasket fails) requires the cam locking tool to change so make sure whoever you use has it. The three studs securing the flange gasket will be corroded so will need heating up and beating out..

It's been a while since I last spammed this website I created, largely created so I could keep track of all the names I was seeing: http://porsche.osmroulette.org/

I've seen the corroded bolts on my exhaust, nasty little blighters! And I realise the cams need locking and new plastic covers for the cam seals. Nothings easy on a Porsche. Well except taking the headlights out, that's a doddle.

Called Fearnsport at Silverstone. What a nice surprise - they really know there stuff, impeccable service and job sorted at a reasonable price. Top blokes.
