Hi All,
Raised the car (98 4.5), searched for drain plug(s). Not obvious so removed metal plate and searched again- once more not obvious. Looking for 2 drain bolts also just in case.
I am pretty sure it is the large Hex Bolt sticking out of the side of the "perforated" sump but just need confirmation from someone please. Also never come across such a large hex bolt before - I have a good toolbox (!) but never come across a Hex this big in previous car services! What size anybody?
Cheers.

See here!

some have 2 others do not, depends on your sump.

Also, many questions on priming. Don't worry about it, just fill the filter up with oil when you replace it to give it something to work with and start the bugger, pressure will come up in about 4/5 seconds.

Thanks for that, perfect photo.
Just got to get the correct size hex now. I'm just lowering the oil level as far too high from person before.
My cover
plate is totally covered in crap also as some of the other posters have said it does not look like it has been taken off for a while!

When Andy at APM did mine, he recoiled it and put a hex plug in from Renault/Citroen.
I later acquired their plug spanner to undo mine....
