My passenger window does not work, it's in the fully up position, it seems completely dead, it does not drop when I open the door & nothing happens when I use the up & down switch on either door. I had a flat battery, I charged it up but had to reset the window stops on the driver door, which was no problem, passenger door dead, nothing!, I am sure it was fine before the battery was flat!

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I guess it's either the door module or window motor?

Thanks Steve

I think you are right either door control module or window motor. Or a wiring issue which is preventing power getting to either of the units. I suggest you take the door card off and check for power at the connectors.Good luck with the diagnosis.

This happened to myself recently on my V8 Vantage Roadster, the passenger window just stopped working and would not drop when the door was opened.
I spoke to AM Wilmslow and they suggested removing the relevant fuse in the passenger footwell fuse box.
Removing and the inserting the fuse again solved the problem.
I would contact your local dealer and ask them the relevant fuse number for the DB9.

The fuse number on the V8 Vantage is 82

It is worth a try as this is a 10 minute job that you can try yourself.

Good luck

That's a good tip as removing the fuse and re inserting would most probably reset the module. The other option is to disconnect the battery again to see if the module resets itself or take the door card off and pull the connectors from the door module for a couple of minutes.

I have had this problem sorted it by taking the fuse for the door module out and back in
fuse box is located behind carpet in passenger foot well behind metal compartment held on by few screws

My 2007 DB9 passenger window does not retract as much as the drivers window when opening the door, is ther a stop adjustment or is this normal?

Hi guys, I have a bit different issues - my driver window drops and ups properly when opening and closing the door.
But when I use window switch to fully move up&down the window, it doens't move at all.

I already checked fuse in/out and battery disconnect, but both failed.
Then checked with indy that there is an issue with door module.

I have ordered the exactly the same part number one (but different batch number) - Think no need extra coding to pair as I am using the same part number, right?

pls advise and let me know if there are any other solution beside changing the module.

thanks

You should check the switch before forking out for a module. If it drops and returns when opening the door, the motor must be ok and the module probably so also. I would test the output on the switch first.

Have you tried the window reset? Press the button down and hold until you hear the 'clunk'. then hold all the way up. wait for the clunk. It may well now work.
