Just considering to upgrade my V8 Vantage (pre-facelift) to cc brake discs. Does anyone have made any experiences in doing so?

I know V8 and V12 (MY 2012) uses the same knuckles with 180mm bolting space at the front. V12 brake calipers require an adapter from 180mm to 190mm bolting space. Offset of the brake disc should be identical. I know brake master cylinder (25,4mm) is identical as well as pedal ratio and brake booster. But no clue about the rear.

Any kind of help is highly welcome.

BR had a V8 in having this done when I was last there. I guess you're going down the DIY route.

Sorry for my late reply, just back from vacation. I stopped converting to CC brake system because of performance. When comparing a V12S with CC brake system and V8S with steel brake system (Brembo racing discs and Brembo GT calipers) the steel system was much better in all respects, i.e. cold braking, modulation, sensitivity, controllability, etc.
Hot braking was an issue, maybe the only point where a CC brake system is slightly better. But cold braking in wet condition was a nightmare.

My final decision was 380x34 (front) and 330x32 (rear), Brembo N-type caliper (front), p-type caliper (rear). Conversion will be most probably finished in September (waiting for parts from Italy).
