Lots of white smoke this morning so car has been transported to Roush to find out what the problem is and the dreaded non locking drivers door has returned too, aaarghhhhh!!

Just had a call from Trevor Jasper (aka Yellowshed) at Roush and sounds like one of the turbos is definately the problem. Bought an extended warranty with Warranty Holdings when new so hopefully shouldnt be out of pocket, fingers crossed!!

I'd be very interested to hear how this goes. I have heard nothing but bad things from warranty holdings (deliberate non use of capitals).

Please let us all know how the claim goes with them.

Will do Laurence, it's all looking good so far tho, Roush spoke to Warranty Holdings and the turbos now on its way back to Universal Turbos for assessment and hopefully should have a replacement fitted by the end of the week

Got the car back today with turbo rebuilt and claim authorised at Warranty Holdings. Thanks to Trevor at Roush for getting everything sorted, including sorting out the non locking drivers door, front clam screw and giving it a good clean!!

There you go Laurence, now you can so "I've heard some bad things about wh"

Remember that people on Internet forums always complain, rarely tell you when things go OK.

I'm very pleased to hear this.

BTW most of what I have heard regarding warranty holdings has been from friends and acquaintances, but like you say Joust, you never get any TV programs called "Holdays From Heaven" because no one wants to hear about them. "Holidays From Hell" is far more interesting.

Once again, I'm really happy to hear that everything worked out for you Andy.

I had a five star Porsche warranty with them and had a hell of a job getting anything done. When i needed a shock replaced i looked at the policy under suspension,it listed hydro elastic displacers as covered.Good news then but on picking the car up i got a bill and was told that hydro elastic displacers are only fitted to Citroens or somthing. So why list them on a five star porsche policy then, same thing time and time again?Gave up in the end and vowed not to buy insurance backed products again.I think its more down to the skill of the garage doing the claim and the terminology that they use, well done Roush!!!
