To the owner of a black Aston Martin reg: CN07 CZM Check the front of your car - I witnessed an utter prick (in an AM convertible that was parked next to yours) reverse into your car and then drive off knowing full well he had hit it. There was a fairly loud crack - I think (hope) it was just the numberplate surround. This was around 11 am.
My son and I also witnessed this, they knew what they'd done but still drove away. Tried to get a pic of the culprit but wasn't quick enough!

Grey AM Roadster poss V12.

Anyone wish to confess before they're outed?

Well lets just say there is a photo in the Sunday Service thread in this sub forum with the V12 convertible shown with number plate. Of course may not be him and another V12 convertible, grey in colour pulled up but i think its safe to say Mr F1 may like to come clean.

Hi ,

Thanks for the heads-up.

Unfortunately that is my Black Vantage which was assaulted. Luckily enough it looks like it is just a broken number plate plinth which took the impact and a chipped grill (to go with the other stone chips). I won't really know what further damage having the Plinth pushed into the bumper if any, until I get a chance to remove the plate.

I would like to think that whoever did it, as a fellow AM owner did so unknowingly and didn't realise as accidents do happen

Thanks

Dave

Quick Update: smilesmilesmile

It's all been resolved amicably, I had a chat with the gentlemen involved who did the 'gentlemanly thing' after picking up on one of the threads.

Obviously, the poor chap is slightly embarrassed about the incident especially as it makes it looks like he was trying to get away with something. After speaking to him it clearly wasn't his intention and as I suspected, it was a total accident and I can completely understand how it happened and why he may not have realised.

Thanks to all to kindly notified me and also to Mr 'X' who contacted me.

Dave
