The top one on the bulkhead is the sat nav DVD drive

The lower one covered in carpet is the amplifier

The one on the boot rim at the top is some aftermarket thing.

You don't say what year the DB9 is, but the smallest box at the top by the rim looks like it has four coloured lights. So could it be the TPMS indicator box?

I'm not a DB9 owner, but that looks like a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

I've got a 2005 DB9, but the photo isn't of my boot as i'm currently working away, I was just wondering what the box with the carpet on is? as mine has this.

If it is an amp, why do some cars don't have this, is it because some have an uprated stereo, 120W or 260W or 750W ??

Thanks

Paul.

My 09 DB9 didn't have it. Pretty sure the amp was in the centre between the 2 rear seats.

That is the exact size and position of the amplifier in my DB9 Volante but the main rear carpet covers it. It does not have that separate carpeted box. Additionally, my TPMS was in the front passenger footwell under the glovebox lid. I fail to see the point of having it hidden in the boot. Finally, I have the maintenance charging socket in the boot on the bottom right which this car does not seem to have.

I suspect.....

The amplifier has been retro-fitted and the capeted cover made for it.

My 2006 DB9 coupe has the exact same carpeted bumpout. I've opened it -- it's audio gear for my 260W Linn system.

Early cars had the TPMS in the boot. Mine's under the dash.

It's an early 9. Top is tpms then sat nav and lower cover for amp same as mine apart from tpms as I don't have this.
