How does one value a car with a view to selling it? I've a Macan coming in January and would let my 2012 991 Cab go early. But, for how much?

Would probably look at the cars for sale and identify one that is closest to yours (mileage, age, spec) and go from there. If its a private sale then another factor in for that as well. Now is the right time to sell a cab (well porbably April would have been ideal) GLWTS

You'd need to provide a lot more information to get any kind of useful answer. But then some people might consider it 'advertising'.
Best to get a trade in value from your OPC, then decide. If it's still under warranty you could try a private sale a few grand above trade in.

Timing important with Cabs....worst months to sell are Sep and Oct. Most dealers have a three month holding period and they're not easy cars to sell in winter. Last thing they want to do is buy a car in Sep and then have to sell it on in Dec.
