Yes, I know we have had loads of threads recently on Brexit, Remain, Corbyn, Boris etc but this thread is specifically about our new prime minister, rather than the Conservative party in general.

Personally, I think she will make a very good PM and has got off to a very good start.

She's like a Maggie Thatcher you could fantasise about sleeping with, without feeling like a bit of a wierdo. I'd put her on a par with Edwina Curry in that regard.

Britain needs a firm hand, a stong matriarchal leader, and a smacked bottom if it doesn't say please and thankyou at a time like this!

She stacks up well against Corbyn in a recent poll.

Here's hoping all those new Labour members keep JC in post until 2020 if not longer.

Gotta love the general public - so they think JC is principled but weak and incompetent!

Was good to see her just answer the question on launching nukes yesterday with a simple, honest, hard yes.

Here's hoping she has a better record as prime minister than she did as home secretary.

This.

No hesitation whatsoever. She was put on the spot and didn't try to duck the issue with what if's and maybes.

Let's hope she never has to make that call.

It was a daft question, if not prepared in advance, and she gave the only possible answer.

Sounds like she destroyed Corbyn at PMQs today.

Apparently very much looks and sounds the part.

My cat could destroy Corbyn so it's not much of a marker, however, she did sound authoritative and in control.

My only concern was she did seem to rush answers. A little slower with her speech patterns and she'll sound more composed, calm and with gravity.

Makes a change for the better from CMD, who I suspect would have waffled.
