Sat Nav update keeps 'sleeping'

Loading 5 yr more recent maps via DVD to the under reasr seat HDD unit. Have the trickle charger connected in the boot and a 6A charger connected at engine +ve point but the b car keeps switching sat nav off and going into low power battery save mode.

Nothing else is on like fan blower or ICE - any tips guys?

I think its a Volvo MMM+ system - but that by now is opinion rather than fact

PLEASE NOTE that if you leave the ECU in it's slot and leave it unattended everything will shut down after 60mins to protect the battery, so you will have to go back and take the key in and out and restart the satnav and it will then resume the update at which ever point it was at.

Thanks John - think I was getting about 15 mins before battery save mode despite the 2 chargers being hooked up. Have a drive to London today to sort! Cheers.
