997 turbo unstable
Discussion
I have a 996 Turbo that suddenly became the same. It is at Center Gravity at the moment, where they have substituted the rear shocks with some good used ones. Problem solved. This is despite the original dampers having passed the damper test machine with flying colours....
I suspect that this may be one of your problems, give them a call and have a chat about it.

A few other owners have experience similar issues which were resolved following a 4 wheel algnment.
Get it booked into an OPC or Centre Gravilty etc for a full geo.
Also discuss the rear shocks with Centre Gravity

Happened to me too, just after I bought mine.
Mike at Sports & Classic diagnosed the rear dampers had gone - apparently it's a common problem with the PASM equipped cars. They were replaced, it made a difference.
I was then told to change from Pirellis to Michelin Pilot Sports... I was doubtful, but this made a big difference and cured it.
It's always going to be a car that is "alive" at speed as you get tons of feedback from it, but at least it's stable enough on the road.
