With much chat and speculation of the new beastie which MAY be unveilled at the motor show, one question is of particular interest to me.

What will it be called?

Here's a few to get the ball rolling:

TVR Typhon (Father to Cerberus & Chimaera)
TVR Echindra (Mother to Cerberus & Chimaera)- Echinda

Best name goes into a letter to PW

I think the "Griffith" name will live on, it is a part of TVRs history, and should be revived.

They could always call it the TVR Bulldog, best of British and all that

Don't be stupid - it'll be called Tuscan. ALL TVRs will eventually be called Tuscan.

Who said PW doesn't have a sense of humour?

The TVR Phall - hottest thing ever... if you have
have one - you sure know about it !

What is this new model supposed to be - yet another
2 seater convertible in the same 35~50 K - 4 litre, 6 cylinder mold - or will it actually be something else new for a new marker segment.

Any one know.

However on a more serious note how about TVR Tempest?

Second thoughts - nah! got to be the Typhon after all people could miss-spell it and say Ooh I just saw one of those TVR Typhoon's - much more in keeping with tradition
