I still say the GT4 should have had centre locks as an option...it would look so much better.

I like it . Subtle aero tweaks , box sorted ( ish ) and 40hp more . Should be great .

All very desirable mods. Interesting that they don't think the suspension needed any changes. Not sure I'd bother with the gearing changes as I actually don't find it it a problem but I know many have commented / moaned about this. The lighter fly wheel is one of the more attractive changes along with the HP increase of course.

Took mine out today and such a good car, getting an annual oil change next week and trying the new turbo Cayman... Should be interesting!

Looking at changing to a 991.2 GT3 Manual next year but the GT4 is soooo good.

Thanks for posting - looks and sounds like a sorted GT4 and I'm sure hose fast sweeping roads suit it down to the ground.

Where do you find Catchpole's Drive Tribe stuff normally?
(I assume that _Bouda_ channel isn't the original source?)

Sounds great but the extended wing and dive planes just look naff to me.

Looks OEM in my books.

Does 2nd still go to 80mph +?

The extended wing and dive planes is something they've got from their their 997.2 GT3 RS. Somehow looks okay on that...the dive planes maybe because they're on the 4.0 RS.

Like the idea of the shorter intermediate gears.

2nd is the same 85mph, so seems a pointless spend imo.

Geo, toelinks and 425BHP with a lightweight fly wheel on the other hand, perfect,

Just needs a shorter final drive by about 15% to bring second down to approx 72 instead of 85. Max speed will be down but it's irrelevant in the UK anyway.

Couldnt agree more and what Ehresman in Germany does. Cannot for the life of me see what Sharkwerks delivers with the still tall 2nd and two 3rds - hopeless.

Lightweight flywheel, no thanks without understanding the crank harmonics and no engine strip to balance as a minimum.

The "problem" with the GT4 is the lack of engine power, not the overall gearing. It's a revvy thing in top gear already. I still love mine though.
