Here's what to look forward to at the 75th Goodwood Members' Meeting this weekend!

To celebrate Goodwood's first major event of the year we thought we would get you in the mood. More intimate than the Festival of Speed or Revival, the Members' Meeting is the VIP opener to the historic racing calendar. The ability to wander round the paddock and get up close to the racing cars as they're being fettled ahead of taking to the track is something truly special. And the action on the track is pretty good too, the Porsche 917s in our selected picture indicative of the quality of machinery participating.

Daffodils in full bloom, screaming engines and plenty of brightly coloured trousers all make this weekend a great way to celebrate spring, this picture from last year's event part of a celebration of Group 6 endurance racers. This year's theme - Legends of GT1 - will include on-track appearances from McLaren F1 GTRs and the rivals from Mercedes, Jaguar and Porsche against which they raced in period.

Beautiful.

I'm rarely moved to set one of these as a background but this I love. Looks even better if you rotate it slightly to set the horizon straight, in my opinion and without offering criticism for what must have been a tricky shot to time correctly.
