what rad cap do you run on the main header tank, not the expansion

mine has this flat cap made of tin which always leaking as a pain to get on and off and tabs bend all the time?

I bought a screw filler neck and cap from Merlin(need the long neck) and had that welded in place of the original which as you say leaks like Julian Assange.

Best I can do at the moment.

I have recently experienced the same problem, that really pissed me off as every one purchased was either too tight or leaked. Finally found one at Car Builder Solutions that fitted and did not leak. Part number :Radiator Cap Valveless SKU: RADCAPVL

the ones i see on merlin Graham dont have leak off pipe to side to go to the expansion tank... did you retro fit one>

Yes, had to get one welded on the neck, there was only room for one on the neck I got, the 30mm one. Should've got the 50mm.
