I'm looking for the hardware to make a normal door, a sliding door.

Most I can find, are just a set of straight runners. With hangers.

or

But I want the type that puts the door "into" the aperture. Think like a Transit sliding door that pops out, then slides open. Or slides then moves into the aperture when it closes. The runners have a "S" shape to them to guide the door in and out.

Any decent options people know about? Inevitably don't want to spend a fortune.

You will struggle to find this configuration available.

Certainly not available from any of the market leaders in this type of hardware.

The reason for that is that to work it needs a track at the bottom as well as the top.

Would a pocket door be an option. Pretty straight forward if it's a stud wall. A bit more challenging if brick, but still possible.
