Ouch. Sorry to hear about that.

We'll know it's your car at Le Mans!

Ouch

Hard to tell from the pics, but is the paint scratched badly?

Some of those dents look like they could be pulled out?

Good luck with getting it sorted.

I'd certainly get a good 'dent man' to have a look at it, sometimes they can work miracles think thats whats needed here!

No scratches, but where there is very sharp creasing the paint has crazed and cracked and is splintering off. I reckon a dent man will get it all out, it may need a new front wing, but there was some rot in there anyway. It'll need painting for sure.

I have had the wheels off this morning and everything looks OK with the chassis & suspension etc. It drives fine. Will get a proper check over next week at Phantom Motors (who wrote their Turbo R racer off last week) to make sure it is OK for Le Mans.

Gosh !, The doors look like they'll pull out, but the wings look creased to me. I applaud your comment on the other post stating you won't be making a fraudulant insurance claim, it's rather like the 'I don't do politics' adverts, folk make claims up for whiplash and god knows what and then whinge at their premium the next year. In closing, please remember you were actually using your car when this happened, it could have been worse, it could have been a car park incident when you weren't even in the car, grinning like a Cheshire cat screaming sideways around a track.

Yeah, Battle scars! Glad you're O.K.

How on earth are you going to break it to Lois?

Not too bad... should be fine for Le Mans. If only it wasnt so mint before I would suggest leaving it alone and just enjoying it as is. Leaving the dents as character.

Hope it can be repaired without too much cost/ back to its previously superb condition.

What you really need is a nice sticker on the edge of the nearside door, like a chav but not - reading "Sponsered by T Cut"

That's sad. Still the sill looks straight so it should be cosmetic only. Dented pride as well I'd guess.

It's a great shame that this should happen to such a lovely car, but it doesn't look as bad as I feared.

Even so I expect it'll cost a bob or two to put it right to a proper standard.

Best wishes Warren, and all,
Dave.

I read your posts, with some concern yesterday, but seeing the damage, it i'sent all that bad really.

It looks worse on a decent vehicle, thats all.
