Loved the article. I did buy my last Porsche from a fellow Freemason, and owned it for six happy years, before selling it to a neighbour, who still speaks to us a year or so later. The current one came from a dealer - with a warranty, which was useful! As a matter of information, the solemn obligations taken by Freemasons specifically exclude sleeping with the wife of a Brother, so your advice runs a bit short there...

You'd have to 'save' a lot of money over a main dealer to put yourself at that level of risk.

Good.I am thinking of buying a car know very little if honest and will probably go to a dealer.I live in the north west preston blackpool wigan area any ideas of who to trust up here to inspect the car ?

Solution - convert back to LHD, buy a place in spain and retire.

even better, as its a bodge, crop the roof off and make a convertable... perfect for the Costa Del Sol and cruising around Porto Benuse.

forget the mileage... its the paintwork that matters.
